Privacy policy

Morning Brief by Talsara sends you one short summary of your wearable data each morning, compared with your own usual range. This draft explains what we use, why we use it and how you stay in control.

This is a working draft for review before launch. It is not legal advice.

1. Who we are

The controller of your personal data is [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("Talsara", "we"). Registered address: [ADDRESS]. Registration number: [NUMBER]. Privacy contact: privacy@talsara.com.

2. What data we use

We use your email address, time zone, preferred delivery time, consent record and the messenger identifier you connect. With your explicit consent, we read sleep duration, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, activity, calories, steps and the source and time attached to each value. We also keep delivery and subscription records needed to run the service.

We do not collect your contacts, photos, location, gender, date of birth or medical history. Access credentials from a connected source are stored securely and never shown in an export.

3. Why we use it

We use health data only to calculate and deliver your daily card and weekly summary. The calculation uses fixed rules and your own recent history. We do not use people or AI to interpret your numbers. We use account and payment data to provide the subscription, keep records required by law and answer support requests. Technical logs contain identifiers and statuses, not health values or message text.

4. What we never do

  • We never sell your data.
  • We never share it with advertisers, data brokers or insurers.
  • We never use health data for advertising, marketing profiles or training AI models.
  • We never write health values into technical logs.

5. Who helps us process it

Hosting, email, payment and delivery providers process only what they need to provide their service, under appropriate agreements. Your messenger stores messages under its own rules. Deleting your Morning Brief account deletes our copy, but cannot remove a message already delivered to your chat.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account and health data while your account is active, then delete it when you delete your account or ask us to. Technical logs are kept for up to 30 days. Invoices and payment records are kept for the period required by tax law: [N] years in [COUNTRY].

7. Your choices and rights

From your profile you can download the data we hold (without access credentials), withdraw health-data consent, disconnect your source or delete your account. Withdrawing consent stops summaries and deletes health data and anything derived from it. You can also ask for correction, restriction or access, object where applicable, or complain to your local data-protection authority. We answer requests within one month.

8. Security and age

Data is encrypted in transit and production access is limited. Morning Brief is for people aged 18 and over. If a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.

9. Cookies and changes

Our website uses one technical session cookie needed to work. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will explain it and ask for consent where required. If this policy changes meaningfully, we will tell you before the change takes effect.
